One Year Later

On Saturday, March 14th of last year, when I closed at the end of the day, I called my husband and said I'm done. The store was packed that day with customers - old, young, pregnant, and everything in between, and I was scared not only for their lives but my own. I told Mike that regardless of when the word would come that we would need to close, Saturday was my day. By Monday, all of the store products were moved to my home that became the new headquarters. My e-commerce site was basically "born."

Wow, it was a wild ride. Who has their first full year of owning a retail store in a pandemic?
